Genesis Private Equity (GPE) is pleased to announce that it has acquired a shareholding in Invivo & Co Limited, alongside its existing shareholders. GPE’s Director, Garry Haskett, will join the current Invivo Board as the GPE representative.
Invivo is a dynamic and exciting kiwi company, with a true international presence. The company is one of New Zealand’s leading wine producers. Invivo’s founders are passionate and extremely knowledgeable of their trade. Invivo has taken on a very traditional industry, in a very modern way.
Invivo’s partnership with Graham Norton has been very successful. Off the back of that success, Invivo is entering a significant growth phase with its new collaboration with Sarah Jessica Parker and the launch of the first Invivo X, SJP Sauvignon Blanc in September – an exciting new chapter for the business!
“Genesis Private Equity invests New Zealanders’ funds in New Zealand businesses. It invests in solid, profitable businesses that welcome an investor bringing commercial expertise at governance level, as well as capital. It looks for companies with experienced management, growing profitability, and a strong economic foundation for future growth. Invivo & Co Limited is a successful business that ticks all those boxes,” says GPE’s Chairman John Rolleston.
Tim Lightbourne, co-founder at Invivo states “Invivo is excited to welcome Genesis Private Equity into our company to help us achieve our goals. Genesis are a company that shares our vision and values and has a passion for helping businesses reach their potential. This is also a proud achievement for an equity crowdfunded business, we have shown we can deliver, and now taking the company to the next level with the support from a private equity partner.”
Invivo is the sixth business that Genesis Private Equity has invested in through its funds.
